Derek is an avid reader in a house of readers: one wife, three sons, a daughter, one mother-in-law, and two useful cats (who don’t read much, but do a fine job managing the local vermin). He enjoys 10K and half-marathon races, with the occasional full marathon thrown in for fun.
He started his career consulting for several three-letter federal agencies, where he learned how to build systems and scale teams. After logging something like 1200 flights, he decided it was time to stay closer to home. Today, he’s grateful to work alongside a growing team of amazing people, helping the food packaging industry save money and operate more efficiently.

Jason has been happily married to Kirsten since 1998. They are proud parents to their daughter, Abby, and her husband, Coby—and share their home with Rudy, the most lovable chocolate lab.

With more than 20 years in customer service management and 14 years in inventory management, he brings a reliable, service-minded approach to helping others and ensuring each interaction is handled with care.
Outside of work, he stays active by playing basketball and coaching high school athletes. He enjoys traveling, spending time with his two teenage boys, and making lasting memories with family and friends.
