Packers Supply Company was founded in 1990 and managed to fly under the radar for the first 33 years of business. When the original founder retired, my wife and I took over operations of the company in July 2023. Having most recently come from a tech startup, we have since worked hard to bring that level of energy and drive to this company.
One of our colleagues coined the term (re)startup and it has stuck with me ever since, because we are in the process of building foundations to scale further and accelerate growth. One of the first things we did in ’23 was to launch a simple website using GoDaddy templates. As the one who pushed the keys, I admit that it was pretty bad. But it got us by until now, when we are partnering with a great local marketing company, Ebbeka Design, to do this (re)launch of the website.
The website looks great, and we will soon have a more robust product catalog for our customers to find what they need.
