It features a thick-profile construction at 1.175 inches and a blind center — a solid core with no central exit aperture — which directs all product flow exclusively through the peripheral holes.

The blind center design serves functional roles in multi-stage grinding and bone-separation systems. By eliminating the center exit path, the plate redirects product flow and supports improved grind uniformity. In separation applications, the solid core works in conjunction with a separation auger to retain hard particles such as bone and sinew centrally while extruding soft meat outward through the peripheral holes.
